The Piriformis muscle is a small muscle that runs from the base of your spine to the upper leg.
The Sciatica nerve, which is a large nerve that runs from your back to your toes, lies in close proximity to the piriformis muscle.
The Sciatic nerve can be compressed by the piriformis muscle, causing back pain, pain in the buttocks and even leg pain.
People with piriformis syndrome typically suffer from persistent low back pain, pain in the buttocks and/or pain down the back of the upper leg.
They can also experience numbness or tingling in the same areas. In this video, I am sharing some very efficient stretching techniques for the piriformis muscle with you.
Good luck with these exercises!
